A lovely aquamarine ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! Made of 14kt white gold, the beautiful navette-shaped design frames?a 1.75ct?aquamarine stone at?the center. The aquamarine displays?a lively sky blue color and is faceted on both sides, catching the light beautifully when worn! A fine engraved border decorates the bezel setting, and an?intricate filigree wirework design carries onto the sides and shoulders of the mounting. The elegant motif is complete?with shapely cutouts that provide a lacy appearance, extending to a simple and smooth band in the back. A small maker's mark is stamped inside the shank. A delicate and feminine ring, it would make a special addition to any collection!
Measurements: The ring has a small finger size of 4,?but could easily be re-sized if desired. The navette-shaped?setting measures 1/2" tall, 3/8" wide, and rests approximately 1/4" above the finger when worn. The tapered band measures 2mm wide at the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the white gold filigreee mounting or the aquamarine stone, which is securely set and free of chips or surface scratches.?
